MEET DELIA · THE STORYTELLER
Delia Jo
Delia Jo is a food and travel writer, Southern storyteller, cocktail book author, and former editor of Eater Nashville. Based in Athens, Alabama, she covers food, travel, and culture throughout North Alabama, Nashville, Florida, New Orleans, and destinations across the American South.
Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Yahoo Travel, Modern Luxury, Modern South, TripAdvisor, and other national and regional publications. She was also a weekly featured Nashville dining expert on 95.5 Nash Icon's Marty McFly in the Morning, where she shared restaurant news, recommendations, and insight into Nashville's dining scene.
Known as “The Queen of Queso,” Delia has built a career around uncovering the stories that connect food, place, and people. She is the author of Nashville Cocktails and the creator of the forthcoming children's book series The Queso Chronicles, beginning with its first title, Look Up at the Sun.
At Hungry Hungry Huntsville, Delia brings the food knowledge, storytelling voice, editorial perspective, and personality that give the platform its distinctly local character.
MEET RYAN · THE BUILDER
Ryan Richmond
Ryan Richmond brings nearly three decades of restaurant-industry experience to Hungry Hungry Huntsville. Over a 29-year career, he has worked across quick service, casual dining, and fine dining concepts, giving him a broad perspective on both restaurant operations and the guest experience.
The majority of his career was spent with the Burger King brand, where he progressed through restaurant leadership and operations roles before ultimately serving as a District Manager in Middle Tennessee.
Today, Ryan leads the technology, strategy, and digital design behind Hungry Hungry Huntsville. He is responsible for the systems and ideas that power the platform, combining his restaurant-industry experience with an interest in software, artificial intelligence, and digital product development.
Ryan is also the creator of Disco Sol Labs, a web development and web application concept focused on building custom digital products for individuals and small businesses.
