Why this place matters
Taqueria Luna is the kind of food truck that makes a compelling argument for following dinner down a side road. The Madison favorite leans into Mexican street food with handmade corn tortillas, tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes and huaraches, but birria is the headliner. Quesabirria comes stuffed with slow-cooked beef and melted cheese with consommé for dipping, and there's a birria quesadilla when tacos somehow don't contain quite enough cheese.
