Why this place matters
Long before I came home and started looking at Huntsville through the eyes of a food writer, West End Grill was simply one of my places. I used to come here when I worked at my stepdad's company, CAS Inc., in Research Park. This was before Bridge Street became the enormous shopping and dining destination that now helps define this side of town, so West End belongs to an earlier version of west Huntsville in my memory.
