Huntsville Botanical Garden gives you 118 acres to wander through gardens, wooded paths and seasonal displays at whatever speed your day allows. The Garden includes the Purdy Butterfly House, aquatic and herb gardens, a children's garden, nature trails and the miniature Train Garden, with classes, plant sales, festivals and rotating events giving locals reasons to return rather than treating it as a one-and-done attraction. It's one of Huntsville's best answers to the question: Where can I go when I don't particularly want to buy anything?
