Moody’s doesn't save karaoke for Friday night. Huntsville's longtime dive has been putting people behind a microphone since 1976, with karaoke seven nights a week starting around 8 p.m. Come early and there's still plenty of reason to linger: Moody’s opens at 11 a.m. daily with pool, darts, drinks and a surprisingly substantial dive-bar food menu, including burgers, wings, fried mushrooms and onion rings. Then night falls, somebody grabs the microphone, and the room becomes the show. This isn't private-room, polished karaoke. It's the wonderfully public kind, where regulars and strangers take turns being the entertainment.
